I currently write for Sons of Penn, a popular blog about the Philadelphia Flyers. I mainly cover the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Reading Royals for the site with minor league prospect reports, news, and recaps. I have covered games from the press boxes of multiple professional teams for the site.
I also run the Sons of Penn Twitter account, which has over 14,000 followers, during Flyers games. Using the account, I capture GIFs of highlights and live-Tweet them.
Before I joined Sons of Penn, I ran a website that I created called Good Night, Good Hockey. It went live in December of 2016.
In 2017, GNGHockey hit 150,000 views. Under my leadership, the site had obtained press credentials for the Philadelphia Flyers, Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and Hershey Bears, doubled its original staff, hosted a podcast, and streamed Temple University Ice Hockey Club games on YouTube.
As the leader of GNGHockey, I had duties that ranged from writing articles, writing code, editing articles, marketing the site, forming relationships with professional teams and media members, and more. I left the site in January of 2018.
I also write for WHIP Radio. I have travelled to and covered sporting events outside the hockey world, such as MLS games, NASCAR, IndyCar, and Formula E races.
As a credentialed press member, I have interviewed Flyers head coach Dave Hakstol, NHL broadcaster Keith Jones, Flyers prospect Travis Sanheim, U.S.A. Olympian Chris Bourque, 24 Hours of Le Mans champion Andre Lotterer, and more.
